Description

Number 46 is a house dating to circa 1711, with later alterations. It is four storeys high and constructed of brown brick with red dressings. A cornice band runs across the facade at the level of the third floor. The front door is set within a wooden doorcase featuring consoles, a dentil cornice, and panelled reveals. The windows have wooden louvred shutters, and the front is punctuated by wrought iron railings. To the east side, the garden wall is part of the boundary wall of Shrewsbury House.
