Description

A small group of four houses, built in 1862, forming a crescent on Cheyne Walk. The houses are each two bays wide, creating an eight-window facade along the curve, a single window on the east return front, and two windows at the west end. The houses are constructed of red brick, with the ground floor facing being stuccoed and rusticated. Stucco detailing defines the quoins, cornice, and parapet. A continuous iron balcony with a hood runs along the first floor. An Ionic porch is located at the east end of the group, with a double porch positioned centrally between numbers 28 and 29. A doorway featuring engaged Ionic columns is found on the west return front of number 30. The houses are primarily listed for their group value when viewed alongside numbers 15-26 Cheyne Walk.
