Description

Number 4 Cadogan Square dates to circa 1880 and was designed by G.E. Street, one of his relatively few London domestic commissions. It occupies a corner site and is five storeys high, including gables. The facade is largely three windows wide, constructed of red brick with stone dressings and bands, and features a tiled roof. The architectural style is a modified Gothic. A four-window return front incorporates the main entrance. Original iron railings with decorative finials, also designed by Street, are present, along with a delicate balcony on the first floor. The interior remains unexamined.
