Description

Numbers 3 to 9 Wynnyatt Street are a group of terraced houses built between 1798 and 1800. They are constructed of yellow and brown brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a roof hidden by a parapet. Each house has two storeys over a basement, and originally two windows per floor. A round-arched entrance, featuring pilaster jambs supporting a cornice, a recessed archivolt and a fanlight, leads to panelled doors of the original design at numbers 7 to 9; however, number 7 has lost its pilasters. All windows are arched at the top. A parapet runs along the top of the building, and number 9 has dormers within a mansard roof. Chimney stacks are located in the party walls between the houses.
