Description

Numbers 18 to 29, Tibberton Square, are a terraced row of houses built in 1827 and developed by Thomas Wontner. The houses are constructed of yellow brick laid in a Flemish bond and have roofs of artificial slate. They are four storeys high, with two windows on each level. Numbers 22 to 25 are set back by one brick's thickness. All windows have gauged brick heads. A stepped entrance features a round arch with wooden, fluted quarter-columns, a cornice, a fanlight with decorative glazing, and a panelled door. The ground-floor windows are round-arched with sashes containing radiating glazing bars. Upper-floor windows have sashes with a 6/6 pane configuration, retaining their original design. A brick string course runs below the parapet. Number 29 has a side entrance to the south-east and blank windows on that side. Chimney stacks are located on the party walls. Cast-iron railings are present at the area.
