Description

This building is a school, dating from 1913 and designed by the London County Council Architects Department. A rear block, originally a Technical Institute or School of Arts and Crafts, was designed by the same department in 1905-6. The school is constructed from brown and black brick and tile, with a main block of three storeys and a rear block of two main storeys and a roof storey. The main block has a four-bay central section flanked by two- and three-bay gabled wings that project forward to the left and right. It features mullion and transom windows. A five-bay block projects forward to the left, with two bays located under a gable. The main roof includes two hipped dormer windows. An original boundary wall with arched entrances is also part of the site.
