Description
This is a terrace of four houses, numbered 6 to 9, located in Addison Bridge Place, London W14. The houses date to the late 18th century. They are three storeys high with basements and are constructed of brown brick, with a stucco band delineating the first floor. Each house has two windows, except for number 9, which has five windows, including a dummy central window on the upper floor. The windows are sash windows, with glazing bars set within square, flanged headed arches. The houses have round-headed doorways with ornamental fanlights featuring radial bar detailing. The doorways contain six-panelled doors. Parapets cap the buildings, and the roof is not visible. Wrought iron area railings are present. A tablet on number 7 commemorates the poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge’s residence there.
