Description
The Former West London County Court, built in 1908, is a two-storey courthouse designed in the English baroque style. It features red brick and Portland stone construction and is seven windows wide, with the three central windows set forward under a pediment. To the right, there is a single-storey wing with an entrance beneath an open segmental pediment. The windows are corniced, with a triangular pediment above the three central ground floor windows and a segmental pediment above the upper centre window. The upper windows have carved stone aprons, and prominent keystones are present throughout. The main block is accented by rusticated brick quoins, and the pediment is adorned with a crest featuring a lion and unicorn.
