Description
St Joseph's Almshouses are a pair of almshouses built in 1851, likely designed by Wardell. They are constructed from coursed rubble and feature a slate roof, showcasing a Collegiate Gothic style. The building is two storeys high and has a short advanced wing on the left side, which is topped with a gable that displays a statue of St Joseph. The ground floor includes a bay window, while most other windows are three-light and have mullions. The doorways are designed with pointed arches, and the building is adorned with tall chimneys.
