Description

Park Crescent is an early to mid-19th century crescent located on Church Street in Stoke Newington. Each house in the crescent is three storeys tall, with an attic and basement, and features two windows. The buildings are constructed of stock brick and include a stucco frieze, cornice, and parapet, with some parapets being pierced. The ground floor has a banded rusticated stucco finish, while the basement is also stuccoed.

The windows have moulded architraves, with those on the second floor featuring ears, feet, and bracketed cills, while the first-floor windows have cornices supported by console brackets. The second-floor windows are sash windows with glazing bars, and the first floor has long casement windows that open onto a continuous cast iron balcony, which is stepped out above prostyle Doric porches. The ground floor windows are sashes with cast iron guards. Access to the houses is via seven steps that have cast iron handrails leading up to half-glazed four-panel doors.
