Description
St Bartholomew's Hospital Medical School is a classical building dated 1878. It has three main storeys above a basement, constructed of yellow brick with a front made of Portland stone. The basement features rustication, while the ground floor has windows. Above this, the windows are adorned with pediments and balustrading. There are blind panels on the top-lits of the second floor. The building also includes an entablature with an inscribed frieze, a modillion cornice, and a blocking that retains a single remaining die of the former balustrade.
