Description
The tower of the former Church of St Albans, built between 1682 and 1687 by Sir Christopher Wren, is constructed of Portland stone in a Gothic style. It features pilaster buttresses and has a later added parapet and pinnacles. The south and east sides have blocked arches. The church was destroyed during and after World War II.
