Description
No. 2 Bridewell Place, built in 1885, is a three-storey building with a basement and a tiled mansard roof featuring pantiles on the upper slopes. Designed in a mid-17th century style, it is constructed of red brick with moulded dressings. The façade has five windows and an arched entrance at the lower level, topped by a circular window. There is a blocked second entrance to the right. The building features dressings around the windows, moulded storey bands, and a modillion cornice. It also has two decorative rainwater heads and three chimney stacks. A modern roof storey has been added.
