Description

This is a late 19th-century lamp post located at St Pancras Almshouses, to the south of the former numbers 9-13 on Southampton Road. It is made of cast iron and features an octagonal pedestal with a spiral column adorned with decorative flowers, leaves, and beading. The lamp post includes a swan neck bracket and a saucer bulb holder. A plate on the lamp post indicates that it was manufactured by the Acme Lighting and Engineering Company of St Albans.
