Description
This is a terrace of four houses, built between 1791 and 1793 by J Tomes and W Harrison. The houses are constructed from yellow stock brick, with No. 3 featuring a slated mansard roof and dormers. The terrace consists of four storeys, with No. 3 also having an attic and basements. Each house has three windows, although No. 3 has two windows and a five-window entrance front on the return, while No. 6 has two windows.
The round-arched doorways have rendered reveals and pilaster-jambs that support cornice-heads, except for No. 3. The fanlights on Nos. 3, 4, and 6 have a radial pattern, and all houses have panelled doors. There are gauged red brick flat arches above the recessed sashes. Notably, No. 3 has a cast-iron balcony at the first floor, second window from the right. The houses feature parapets.
The interiors were not inspected, as the properties have now been converted into flats. The terrace also includes subsidiary features such as attached cast-iron railings with urn finials in front of the areas, and Nos. 5 and 6 have wrought-iron lamp-holders.
