Description
The animal drinking trough at the southern junction with Hampstead Road is a double trough built in the late 19th century. It is made of granite and was presented by the Metropolitan Drinking Fountain & Cattle Trough Association, whose name is inscribed on both long sides. The trough features a double design with three spur stones on the roadside and has a pavement tray beneath the western trough.
