Description
The Tomb of Esther Offty is a monument located in St George's Gardens, Camden. It dates from 1770 and is made of Portland stone. The chest tomb features fielded panels, a ledger slab, and angle balusters, all resting on a tall red brick base with stone quoins and a plinth. Esther Offty, who lived on Great Russell Street, died at the age of nine. This tomb is situated in the center of the former St George's Bloomsbury burial ground and is one of the most prominent surviving tombs in the area.
