Description

This is a terrace of twelve houses located in Camden, built in the 19th century, with some dating to the earlier-mid 1800s. The houses are constructed of yellow stock brick, with rusticated stucco on the ground floors. Each house has three storeys and a basement, with two windows facing the street.

The doorways have square heads with pilaster jambs, supporting cornice heads; these are topped by fanlights and feature panelled doors. Number 31 has a stucco portico extension with pilasters enclosing a recessed, architraved, round-arched doorway and a panelled door. There is an additional entrance on the right-hand return of number 53. The windows are recessed sash windows; those on the ground floor have margin glazing, except at number 35. Upper floor windows are architraved sashes, with the first floor featuring console bracketed cornices and cast-iron balconies. A stucco cornice and blocking course runs along the top of the facades.

The interiors of the houses have not been inspected. Attached cast-iron railings with spearhead finials define the areas in front of the houses.
