Description
Number 14 is a terraced house built between 1662 and 1665 by T Coxe. The building was stuccoed around 1750 and features a rusticated ground floor and a sill band at the first floor level. It has four storeys and a basement, with three windows. The round-arched doorway includes a radial fanlight, sidelights, and a panelled door. The square-headed sash windows are architraved on the first to third floors, with the first floor also featuring wrought-iron balconies. There are sill bands at the second and third floors, along with a cornice and blocking course. Although the interior was not inspected, it is noted to have some simple fielded panelling and an original 17th-century staircase with turned balusters and shaped ends, as well as a straight string on the second floor. The property also has attached late 19th-century cast-iron railings to the areas.
