Description
The garden walls to the southwest of Lauderdale House date from the 17th century and are constructed of red brick. These terrace walls enclose formal gardens and feature gadrooned stone piers at the top of the steps. Atop these piers are stone statues depicting a seated rustic couple, designed in the style of John Nost around 1700.
