Description
Barrow House, built in the early 19th century, is a two-storey building featuring four windows. The house is constructed of painted brick and has full-height flat pilasters, with a modillion eaves cornice that extends to create an open pediment over a slightly projecting entrance bay. The roof is hipped and covered with slate. The sash windows have flush frames and small panes; the two windows beside the entrance are divided by a timber mullion and sit under a segmental head. There is a projecting one-storey entrance porch with a flat roof, supported by Doric pilasters, featuring a pair of glazed doors with margin lights and matching fully-glazed side lights. To the left of the house is a brick carriage gateway topped with a parapet.
