Description

Elm Green Farmhouse is a house, formerly a farmhouse, dating from the early 18th century. It has a two-cell lobby-entrance plan and stands one and a half storeys tall, with attics and two windows. The structure is timber-framed and rendered, topped with a thatched roof featuring eyebrow casement dormers from the 19th century. There is an axial chimney made of red brick. The house has 20th-century casements and an open hipped thatched porch with an entrance door. Inside, there is a central chimney that serves open fireplaces in both the hall and the parlour.
