Description

This listing describes a pair of square gate piers connected by a low wall to two similar piers at either end of the road frontage. They date from the late 18th century or early 19th century. The piers are made of rough-cast rendered brick and feature painted moulded limestone square flat cappings. Each gate pier has a pair of wrought iron lamp holders, while the terminal piers are topped with limestone urns that have gadrooning and drapery details.
