Description
Green Farmhouse is a farmhouse that is positioned sideways to the road. It features an exterior from the early 19th century, but there are signs of an earlier structure beneath. The building is constructed of white brick, likely covering an earlier timber frame, and has a roof made of clay pantiles. The roof has two spans, with both sections hipped towards the road and gabled away from it, and it features overhanging eaves. Each range has an internal chimney stack with a high square white brick shaft.
The front range includes four small-paned sash windows in flush frames, spaced irregularly across each storey, along with an off-centre door that has six applied panels, two of which are glazed, and a plain rectangular fanlight above. Internal shutters are present on both storeys. The rear range has small-paned casement windows with two and three lights, featuring rounded heads to the frames and rounded arches to the surrounds.
