Description

Abbey Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from around 1630, with later additions. It has two storeys and attics, featuring a timber-framed structure with plastered panels. The layout follows a two-cell lobby entrance plan, with an added third unit. There are two internal chimney stacks, one of which has attached hexagonal shafts on a plain base. The roof is covered with plaintiles. The windows were replaced with casement windows around 1975. At the rear, there is a mid-19th century wing constructed from flint and brick. The building postdates a manorial survey conducted in 1624.
