Description

The property comprises four dwellings, originally a barn likely dating to the late 16th or 17th century, serving the nearby farmhouse. The barn was extended to the left and converted into a terrace of cottages in the mid-19th century. Around 1970, the cottages were restored and some were combined. The building is two storeys high with eight windows. It has a timber frame and plastered walls, and a pantiled roof which was originally thatched. Four axial chimneys of red brick, dating to the 19th century, are present. The windows are 19th-century small-pane sashes, with roughly half of them being renewed around 1970, and lacking architraves. Cottages 1-3 have late 20th-century half-glazed doors, while Foxglove Barn has a panelled door. The interior has not been inspected.
