Description

Offton Place is a farmhouse built around 1800 for the Kersey family. It has two storeys with attics and features three windows. The building is constructed from red brick and has Dutch parapet gables with limestone pierced finials at each corner. There are external end chimneys made of red brick and a plaintiled gambrel roof. The windows are sashes with segmental heads made of gauged brick, featuring small panes and sidelights. The entrance door is recessed and has six panels, with the reveals also panelled, and an oblong fanlight with border panes. The rear elevation is similar, with small pane sashes and a half-glazed panelled door that has a semi-circular fanlight and an open pediment supported by console brackets.
