Description

This is a terrace of three houses, originally built as four almshouses in the early 17th century. The building is constructed of red brick in English bond, with a plaintiled roof featuring four gabled dormers. A central, axial chimney of red brick is notable, with a sunk panel at its base and twin attached octagonal shafts. Internal end chimneys, also with octagonal shafts, are present at each gable.

The building is one storey with attics, and has four windows. The windows are 3-light mullioned, with chamfered reveals and moulded pediments. The window surrounds are rendered to simulate the appearance of ashlar, and contain leaded lights. The original nail-studded boarded entrance doors have been replaced with 19th- and 20th-century versions, but retain the original pediments above.
