Description
The Old Rectory is a former rectory dating from around 1832. It is constructed of gault brick with a hipped, slated roof and internal chimneys also of gault brick. The main range is two storeys high and has three windows. To the left is a lower, two-storey service range, set back, with four windows. The windows are small-pane sashes, with moulded cast iron lintels. Dummy windows are present at both levels on the right-hand side, while a ground-floor window on the left has been replaced in the 20th century with a pair of French doors. A pair of three-panelled entrance doors with sidelights and an oblong fanlight are sheltered by a Doric portico porch with a flat entablature supported by a pair of columns. The garden elevation to the right features five windows, all with sashes as described above.
