Description

Fern Cottage is an early 19th-century house located at 17 Gracechurch Street in Debenham. It is constructed of red brick and features a roof made of glazed black pantiles. The building has two storeys and a three-bay facade. The windows are sash style with glazing bars set in flush frames, and they are topped with segmental arches. The centre of the facade has a blank panel. The doorcase is adorned with a broad architrave, pilasters, and a cornice, and it includes a six-panel raised and fielded door. There are additions to the right of the house that are not of special interest. Fern Cottage is included for its group value context.
