Description

The Grange is a farmhouse dating from about 1800. It is constructed of red brick and has a gambrel roof covered in concrete plain tiles, originally slated, with dormers. There are two internal end chimneys built of red brick. The house follows a double-pile plan and is two storeys high, with three windows on the front. The windows are small-pane sashes with flat arches formed with gauged brick at the ground floor; two sashes flank the entrance. The entrance door has six fielded panels and a blind, plastered semi-circular fanlight above, detailed with gauged brick. A low, two-storey service range is attached to the right.
