Description

The Chestnuts is a house dating from the 16th to 17th century, constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped with a thatched roof. It features a three-cell, cross-entry layout and is one and a half storeys tall. The building has mid-20th century standard casement windows and a mid-20th century plank door with a gabled open porch. There are two eyebrow dormers on the roof, and an internal stack with a shaft that is mostly cement-rendered. The interior has not been examined.
