Description

The front garden railings to Honister House, dating from around 1830, are made of cast iron and stand on a low brick base. There are ten sections of railings featuring octagonal standards with moulded heads and spear-headed tops. The gates on both the right and left sides return to open work iron piers adorned with quatrefoil ornament and topped with acorn finials. These railings are included for their group value with the house.
