Description
Sparrowe's Nest is an early 19th-century house built of painted brick. It has two storeys and features a three-window range on each front, although the south front has one window range that is blocked. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars, set in plain reveals and equipped with louvred shutters. On the west front, there is a Doric porch that projects, supported by fluted columns and adorned with a triglyph frieze. A raised brick band runs along the level of the first-storey window sills. The roof is hipped and covered with slate.
