Description

High Green is a late 19th-century building with an early 20th-century extension, originally designed as a workshop on the ground floor and a drawing office above. It was converted into residential use in 1982. The building is constructed of red brick with a timber king post roof and slate covering. It is two storeys high. The north facade has seven window bays with double-hung sash windows set within brick arches, and modern doorways have been inserted. The east facade mirrors the north, with four window bays in a matching style. A double-height window is incorporated into the first floor and attic level. The building is listed for its group value.
