Description

Manor Farmhouse, dating from the 17th century, has a date of 1675 marked by the initials GB found on one of the roof timbers, which reflects the character of the house. The external timber-framed structure is encased in Fletton brickwork, featuring small buttresses at intervals. Most of the windows and the porch are modern. The building has a stack of four octagonal detached flues and an old plain tile roof. Inside, there is a spiral oak stair and beamed ceilings, along with a duck's nest grate, although the interior has undergone significant modernization.
