Description
Moat Farmhouse is probably a 16th-century farmhouse, with alterations in the 20th century. It is a two-storey, three-cell hall range with an early or original rear wing. The house has timber framing and plaster. It has a hipped, plaintiled roof with an internal chimney of red brick, and another massive internal chimney within the rear wing. The windows are 2- and 3-light casements from the 20th century. A gabled, 20th-century entrance porch has a glazed, 2-panelled door.
