Description
Tower Mill is a disused tower mill built around 1840. It features a battered English bond red brick structure that is circular in plan and has four floors above the ground floor. The tower was reduced in height by one floor in the early 20th century when the mill was dismantled. The building has various segmental-arched window openings, although the windows are missing. There are two doorways, one of which is blocked, and one loading doorway on the first floor. Inside, the original upper floors are largely intact, with bearers for four pairs of stones on the second floor, as well as trimming for the upright shaft and sack traps. All machinery has been removed.
