Description

Ubbeston Hall is an early 18th-century house of a roughly L-shaped plan. It is constructed of red brick with a brick band at first-floor level, a moulded brick modillion eaves cornice, and a flat parapet. The rear elevation is cement-rendered, and the roof is hipped with plain tiles. The house is two storeys and has an attic.

The symmetrical three-bay front facade features widely spaced sash windows with glazing bars under segmental arches. The ground floor windows are tripartite, while those on the first floor are sash windows. A doorway has a six-panel raised and fielded door, a rectangular fanlight with glazing bars, fluted pilasters, and a modern bracketed hood. Two flat-roofed dormers are visible. The right-hand return front is characterised by mainly casement windows under segmental arches.
