Description

Alpha Cottage is an early 18th century building that stands two storeys high with an attic, featuring one dormer and one gable window. The structure is timber framed and plastered, with a finish that mimics ashlar stone. The roof is tiled, and there is a rendered plinth at the base. The cottage has two sash windows with glazing bars, set in flush frames. Alpha Cottage is part of a group that includes Nos 76 and 78, as well as Nos 86 to 92 on Cumberland Street.
