Description

Nos 42 to 46 on St Mary's Street are 18th century buildings that stand two stories tall with an attic. They feature three gabled dormers and are constructed of painted brick with machine tiles. The buildings were originally part of a design that included a coved cornice and two brick pilasters topped with moulded brick caps. The first floor has five flush frame sash windows with glazing bars. The shop fronts, which date from the mid-19th century, are made of wood and include cornices and consoles. Nos 42 to 56 form a group.
