Description
No 2 Lower Olland Street is an early 17th-century building that is connected to Nos 1 and 3 Upper Olland Street and includes part of a 16th-century structure. It has two storeys and an attic, with a combination of tiles and pantiles on the roof. The exterior features mock half-timberwork painted on cement rendering. There is a three-light gable window and a two-light casement window on the first floor, while the ground floor has a mullion transom casement window. The entrance is a six-panel door located under the left side of No 56 St Mary's Street, framed by an architrave with a convex frieze and cornice. To the left, there is a two-storey wing made of painted brick, which includes a small casement window on each floor. No 2 forms a group with No 56 St Mary's Street and Nos 1, 3, and 3A Upper Olland Street.
