Description

South Lodge is an early 19th century building located on London Road. It is two storeys high and constructed from Suffolk yellow brick, featuring a band below the bracketed wide eaves. The roof is hipped and covered with slate. On the first floor, there are three sash windows with glazing bars, each topped with flat arches. The porch is stuccoed and has an open front supported by square columns, a pediment, and arched side windows. The entrance includes a four-panel door with a fanlight above it. To the left, there is a two-storey wing with one window, which has a stone cope.
