Description

The Three Mariners is a late 18th-century public house, originally named the Mariners Inn, situated on the southwest side of the High Road in Trimley St Mary. It is a timber-framed building with roughcast plastering and a hipped roof covered in plain tiles. The two-storey building has a four-window front. A central, splayed bay is prominent, flanked by two tripartite sash windows with glazing bars. The upper-floor windows are casements with three and two lights. Two entrance doorways are situated between the windows. The left-hand doorway features wood casing, a segmental hood mould, a four-panelled door that is half-glazed, and a fanlight. The right-hand doorway is similar, but with a semi-circular hood mould.
