Description
Westerfield Hall is a notable 17th-century building featuring a cross wing at the south end. It is constructed of red brick with purple headers. The east front showcases projecting pavilions at both the north and south ends, each topped with curvilinear Dutch gables and pediments. The hall has two storeys and attics, with a five-window arrangement (1:3:1) consisting of mullioned and transomed three-light casements that have leaded lights. The attics are illuminated by small three-light casements set in the gables, which also feature moulded brick pediments. A central porch with a Dutch gable extends from the front, and the doorway is framed by a moulded stucco architrave. The roof is tiled and includes two brick chimney stacks with circular grouped shafts. A panel located on the north end of the building displays the date 1683.
