Description

St John's House, also known as Little Castle, is a building located on Castle Street, dating from 1812. It features a mock Gothic design with battlements added to an earlier structure. The exterior is finished in stucco and consists of two storeys, with a band and cornice. The roof is covered with machine tiles, and there are some sash windows in flush frames. The addition includes pointed-headed casements with drip moulds. A notable feature is the Corinthian porch, which has fluted columns. St John's House forms a group with St John's Church on St John's Hill.
