The building is a wing adjoining the west of Number 56, known as The Hollies. It dates from the 18th century and has undergone alterations and additions. The structure is two stories tall and has an L-shaped plan, which includes a narrow extension to the west. It is constructed of brick and has a tiled roof. This wing, along with Numbers 54 and 56, and an ancillary building, forms a group with the bridge over the River Waveney.
