Description

Church Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse. The main part is built of red brick, with some areas rendered in cement. It has a plain tile roof with barge boards, and an outshut with pantiles. The rear of the house is lower, incorporating a hayloft. The front facade has three windows, featuring 19th-century sash windows with glazing bars, set within flush frames, and with arches constructed of flat brick. Casement windows are found at the rear, with segmental brick arches. A portico in-antis is present at the front entrance, featuring plain timber pilasters, a frieze, and a pediment. The sides of the portico contain raised and fielded panels, and the door has an upper rectangular glazed panel. The south gable includes a plank door at a high level, accessing the hayloft, and a stable door below. Brick stacks are positioned on the gables at the ridge. The eaves are decorated with modillions.
