Description

The forecourt wall of Seckford Hospital, located on the north side of Seckford Street, was constructed in 1852. It features a red brick and stone wall with steps and entrances at each end. The ornamental cast iron balustrade and gates, designed by James Noble in 1842, are notable for their wide frontage and continuous design, which includes massive scrolls.
