Description

The building located at 100 Seckford Street, known as The Rectory, dates back to 1852. Originally, it was an old timber-framed farmhouse, but very little of that structure remains today. The remnants include an odd window with leaded panes and some timber-framed and plastered fragments. The building has been remodelled and modernised since it became a vicarage. It is three and two storeys tall and features a roof covered with pantiles. The current appearance is of Suffolk yellow brick, with various types of sash windows and bay windows, along with a porch and a wood modillion cornice.
